The closest thing I have to a Siren in my life would be my friend Stacy who offers to employ her voodoo doll whenever someone does me wrong. Wish I had a group of them in my life like Linnie does, They are a hoot and a half, and I am a self-proclaimed Siren in Training!

The siren-like person in my life is my mother-in-law. She surprises us often by dropping off our favorite dishes and desserts that she makes. She doesn’t hesitate to speak up or send a letter expressing her concerns if she has problems at a store or with an online purchase. She is sweet and loves to spend time with her granddaughters.

I would have to say my Siren is my Mom, she’s ready to get into trouble at the drop of a hat.

My siren is my Granny who drove an SUV and a riding lawn mower. She lived alone into her nineties and was the kindest person I know. She knew the name of every person, pet and plant she’d ever seen. She raised three children on her own after divorcing her husband due to domestic violence because she was a chemist in a time most women were not able to have a career. She became an angel this fall but she remains the one I look to for an example of how to raise yourself past your circumstances and always be thankful for what you have.
