As October brings a welcome break from Charleston’s summer heat, I’m working on the third novel in the Sweet Lake series. For all the readers who have kindly asked: Yes, Sweet Lake #3 is in fact Jada’s story. A poignant journey into past events that forever scarred the town of Sweet Lake will bring Jada full circle, to the love that has been waiting for her all along.

There are many surprising turns in store, as well as heartwarming moments. It’s been several years since I’ve written a novel with a child in a strong supporting role, and you’ll enjoy getting to know Fancy Kettering better in this third installment in the series (Fancy is the daughter of Philip Kettering).
